Lizzie Briggs HFA Fhp
Lizzie Briggs HFA Fhp has joined our team of franchisees, covering the Wigston & Kibworth areas of Leicestershire, having worked in healthcare for 20 years.
Previous to becoming an FHP she has previously worked as an ambulance technician – assisting paramedics for 12 years and then as a co-ordinator in A&E for 7 years in busy Leicester LRI.
She saw the difference that looking after your feet can make – especially as we age and seeing how mobility is so important.
In her own words “I love to help people and make them feel comfortable and feel better about themselves. I feel a passionate about highlighting the importance of keeping your feet healthy. Becoming an FHP has also given me a much better work/life balance which is a massive bonus to me and my family.”
Lizzie is a busy mum to her 8 year old and juggles work around this and her hobbies. She is a keen photographer, loves the outdoors and enjoys walking and hiking especially in beautiful weather! She likes nothing better than hiking in the Peak District with her family.
Lizzie joins Healthy Feet Mobile Clinic having trained through our Healthy Feet Academy gaining a Level 4 Diploma which is accredited by the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning.
Whilst training to be a foot health practitioner, she has also completed a diabetic foot health screening course, accredited by the Universities of Edinburgh and Plymouth.
As do all our team, Lizzie uses a vacuum autoclave to sterilise her foot care instruments at home so that you have the assurance of optimum hygiene regimes for your treatment.
Lizzie covers the LE8 and LE18 villages of Wigston Magna, Countesthorpe, Cosby, Whetstone, Kibworth, Fleckney.
