Fiona Walker HFA FHP
Fiona joins Healthy Feet Mobile Clinic after training through our Healthy Feet Academy, where she gained a Level 4 Diploma, accredited by the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning. She has also completed a Diabetic Foot Health Screening course, accredited by the Universities of Edinburgh and Plymouth, and is qualified to treat diabetic patients, including providing neuropathy testing.
Fiona brings extensive experience in community work and healthcare. She is a mental health practitioner and a qualified youth worker with over 30 years’ experience working in the community, schools, and health projects, including accident and emergency departments. She is also a mental health first aider, stress wellness practitioner, and disability coach, with a particular interest in health, wellbeing, and neurodiversity.
Outside of work, Fiona is a busy mum to two grown-up children and a dedicated animal lover. She cares for her three rescue dogs and four horses, and enjoys spending time with them whenever she can.
As with all our practitioners, Fiona uses a vacuum autoclave to sterilise her foot care instruments at home, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety for your treatment.
