Fiona Walker HFA FHP
Fiona provides professional foot health services in Stanley, West Yorkshire, delivering high quality care through the Healthy Feet Mobile Clinic. She trained at the Healthy Feet Academy, where she achieved a Level 4 Diploma accredited by the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning. Fiona has also completed a Diabetic Foot Health Screening qualification accredited by the Universities of Edinburgh and Plymouth, allowing her to safely treat diabetic patients, including carrying out neuropathy testing as part of her foot health assessments.
Alongside her foot health qualifications, Fiona brings over 30 years of experience working in healthcare and community settings. She is a mental health practitioner and qualified youth worker, with a background that includes community projects, schools, and accident and emergency departments. She is also a mental health first aider, stress wellness practitioner, and disability coach, with a strong interest in wellbeing, mental health, and neurodiversity.
Like all Healthy Feet Mobile Clinic practitioners, Fiona follows strict hygiene and safety protocols. She uses a vacuum autoclave to sterilise her foot care instruments at home, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, infection control, and patient safety during every treatment.
